Prof. Mustafa Kurklu is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating various musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those related to the upper extremities. His expertise includes a wide range of hand and wrist surgeries, from simple procedures to complex reconstructions, and he has a focus on improving patients’ functionality and quality of life.

Prof. Mustafa Kurklu has been in the field of orthopedic surgery for over 20 years. His dedication to his patients, ongoing professional development, and involvement in academic medicine make him a respected expert in orthopedic care, particularly in hand and upper limb conditions.

Prof. Mustafa Kurklu graduated with honors from the prestigious GATA Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and went on to complete his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital. Over the years, he gained significant international experience, particularly in the field of hand surgery. His post-graduate training included fellowships at leading institutions like Duke University, Wake Forest, and Harvard University, where he honed his skills in advanced hand surgery techniques.

In 2013, Prof. Mustafa Kurklu became the Head of Hand Transplantation at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy, where he managed complex cases, including those involving hand transplants, and contributed to groundbreaking medical practices in the field.

Since 2017, he has served as a professor and has become a prominent figure in his field, dedicating himself to both treating patients and advancing medical knowledge through research and academic teaching.
