Liver Transplant for an Algerian Patient

Mrs. Fatima, from Algeria, contacted us for a liver transplant as the last treatment option to address cirrhosis caused by jaundice. After years of treatment and numerous tests, the patient went into a coma twice, which confirmed the need for immediate liver transplantation.

After selecting Turkey as the treatment destination, Fatima’s daughter, who was a suitable donor, reached out for guidance. Our team assisted them with all medical arrangements for a smooth treatment process.

Fatima traveled to Istanbul with her daughter, and upon arrival, they were welcomed by our team and transferred to the hospital for necessary pre-transplant tests to ensure the transplant and donation were safe for both.

The liver transplant was successfully performed 12 days after admission, and Fatima remained in the hospital for 15 days for follow-up care. Both the patient and the donor are in good health today, with Fatima enjoying a new lease on life and resuming her daily activities with ease.
